What is Tonight's Sky? 🌌

A daily cosmic moment from NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day, paired with a short emotional reflection tuned to your mood. After 7pm local time it shifts to "Tonight's Sky" with deeper colors and a Late-Night Calm Mode. Save the image to your vault, place it on your Cosmic Diary, set it as your Buddy chat backdrop, or share-as-Vibe to post it directly to your feed. Tap "Tune to my week" to get an AI reflection that weaves your last 5 Buddy moments into tonight's image.

What is Search the Universe? 🔭

Browse NASA's free Image & Video Library by typing any term — "mars sunset", "andromeda", "ISS earth view", "pillars of creation". Tap any image to set as background or share as Vibe. Powered by NASA, no API key required.

What is Cosmic Mode?

A one-tap toggle on Tonight's Sky that overlays your chosen cosmic image as a soft 18%-opacity backdrop across every tab in Konnect — Home, Explore, Buddy, DMs, Profile. The whole app feels like one continuous cosmic atmosphere. Pair it with a Mood Room in Buddy to see a matching NASA image behind the room's particle effects.

How do Daily Streaks 🔥 work?

Three forgiving streaks tick up independently — one for opening Tonight's Sky, one for taking the daily Quiz, and one for chatting with Buddy. You start with 1 freeze token; earn +1 (capped at 3) every 7-day milestone. A freeze auto-shields a missed day so a single off-day doesn't reset you. Milestone celebrations fire at 3, 7, 14, 30, 50, 100, 200, and 365 days with tiered emotional copy.

What is For You Today?

A single, emotionally intelligent sentence at the top of Home that rotates daily. Free tier picks from 100 curated messages; Konnect+ and Buddy+ members get an AI-personalized card built from their recent activity. Tap Reflect to journal privately, Share as Vibe to post it, or Talk to Buddy to start a conversation seeded with that thought. Manage your morning push schedule under Profile → For You Today.

What's a Vibe?

Your current energy as a 24-hour Story. Pick a gradient, upload a photo, or paste a link from Instagram / YouTube / TikTok and use its thumbnail as your background. Now supports Instagram-style music stickers — trim the 30-second preview and drop it on your Vibe. Every Vibe has a share icon → WhatsApp, IG Stories, Twitter, or the native share sheet. Tap the eye icon on your own Vibes to see who viewed, heart to see who reacted.

How does Music on Vibes work? 🎵

Open the Vibe composer, tap the music pill, and search millions of songs. Preview any track, trim the 30-second clip, and drop it as a sticker. Viewers tap the sticker to open a Song Page where they can see who else Vibed to that track, save it to their Library, or reuse it in their own Vibe. Browse "Trending on Konnect" to discover what your circle is playing.

Can I talk to Buddy on a real voice call? 📞

Yes! Buddy+ subscribers get a free 3-minute preview call to experience real-time voice mode powered by OpenAI Realtime API. Loved it? Add Buddy Minutes — $2.99 for 10 min · $7.99 for 30 min · $14.99 for 60 min. Minutes never expire. Every call caps at 5 minutes so conversations stay focused; you can start a new one instantly. Voice engine and specific voice are picked in Buddy → Settings → Buddy's Voice.

What is My World? 🌍

Your interest profile — the movies, TV shows, anime, sports, places, and artists you love. Search TMDB for films, Jikan / AniList for anime, and pick posters that represent you. My World powers friend matches (people who share your top 5 anime), poster-attached Vibes and Sparks (tap-through chips friends can open), weekly push nudges when new locals share 3+ items with you, and My World · Wrapped — a Spotify-Wrapped-style year-end share card. New users pick 5 movies and 3 anime during onboarding; edit anytime from Profile → 🌍 My World.

What is the "Build your World" step during signup?

A quick, optional onboarding step right after profile setup where new users pick 5 movies and 3 anime they love. This seeds your matches on day one — so when you land on Home, "people who share your interests" already surfaces real overlaps. You can skip either step and add everything later from Profile → 🌍 My World.

How do poster-backed Vibes and Sparks work?

When creating a Vibe or Spark, tap the 🎬 poster button in the composer to search TMDB / Jikan and attach a movie, TV show, or anime poster. It shows as a tappable chip below your caption with the title, kind (Movie · TV · Anime), and cover art. Friends can tap the chip to open the media page. Great for movie-night reactions, anime hype, or sports commentary.

How do I connect with people?

Tap the search icon on the Home tab to find people by name or @handle. You can also tap the ··· menu on any Spark to Connect with the author. Connected users' sparks appear in your "For You" feed.

What are the feed tabs?

Your Home feed has four tabs: For You (sparks from people you're connected with), Global (all public sparks), Nearby (sparks near your location), and Circles (sparks from your Inner Circles).

What is an Inner Circle?

Inner Circles are private groups for sharing with trusted people. Create one from your Profile, invite members, and share sparks exclusively within the circle.

How does AI Buddy work?

Your AI Buddy is a personal companion with 26 unique personas across 22+ languages. Pick a persona, set your language, and chat by text or voice. Buddy remembers your moods over time, surfaces shared memories, builds trust scores, and weaves emotional callbacks into future replies. Pick a Mood Room (Rain Room, Midnight Train, Cozy Café, Space Drift…) to get atmospheric backdrops, haptics, and ambient audio. Now weather-aware — Buddy knows when it's raining or golden-hour where you are and shapes replies accordingly. Switch languages mid-conversation and Buddy adapts on the very next message.

What is Konnect Prediction? 🔮

A daily fortune card personalised to you — spirit animal, magic color, lucky moment, one thing to avoid, zodiac + moon phase, and a short headline. Weather-aware — if it's pouring outside, your card reflects the mood. There's also a Monthly Prediction with theme word, week-by-week guide, and top 3 lucky dates. One-tap share to Vibe and your friends can react. Find it on Home tab or in your profile menu.

What is Konnect Wrap? 🌌

Every Sunday morning Konnect Wrap rolls up your last 7 days as a shareable card — mood shifts, streaks, top emotional moments, cosmic events (new/full moon), and a personalised headline. Underneath lives the full Emotional Timeline — every mood you've tracked, every buddy conversation summary, every meaningful spark. Only visible to you unless you share the card.

How do DMs work?

Send private messages, photos, or short 15-second videos to anyone. All media auto-expires after 24 hours. Long-press to Edit (text) or Delete (for you or for everyone). Use Conversation Spark (✨ icon in the input) to get 3 AI-generated prompts when a chat goes quiet.

How do Badges work?

Each badge has 3 tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold — across 6 categories: Spark Igniter, Vibe Voyager, Streak Keeper, Card Sender, Thread Weaver, and Community Heart. The moment you unlock a new tier we push-notify you with a celebratory share flow.

What are the subscription tiers?

Free: 5 Buddy personas, 30 messages/day, 3 avatars/day, full access to Tonight's Sky and Streaks. Konnect+: 10 personas, 200 messages/day, unlimited translations, AI-personalized For You Today. Buddy+: All 26 personas, unlimited messages, voice conversations, premium Mood Rooms.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. All your data including sparks, messages, media, cosmic vault, and streaks will be permanently removed.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Tap the ··· menu on any Spark, Thread, or profile, then select "Report." Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.

How do I block or mute someone?

Tap the ··· menu on any Spark and select "Report / Block / Mute." You can also visit their profile to block or mute them. Blocked users can't see your content or contact you.

Can I use Konnect in my language?

The AI Buddy supports 22+ Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, and many more. Select your language at first launch or in the Buddy chat. The language lock keeps Buddy from drifting between scripts mid-conversation.
